Abstract
In the design of the architecture of connection and joint spaces exist that their role is the balancing of this relationship. These spaces are not necessarily an empty space or a residual space, and can have the nature and character of the space. The boundary between inside and outside space has been raised from a long time ago. In traditional Iranian architecture also saw the porch, awning, canopy and that in all these spaces may not directly refer to their joint role, but instead have it in their nature. The purpose of this paper is to study how to provide Connections Space in the passing of the open space to close space And features that this space is due to the nature of the other two side should be have. This space balance between outdoor living and transfer to indoor in a way that is mixed characteristic of both space used equally and stabilizes the sense of contrast during the transition from outside to inside because of limited and few studies have been done about the spatial relationship in this paper, we tried to collect features and physical and non-physical elements dedicated to this space until finally reach analyze them to the classify types of spatial continuity.
